Prior to the extreme low, most of the East Coast were in stage 4-6 water restrictions. Councils along the East Coast have lowered the restrictions to level 2. Although the communities of the East Coast believe that because the dams are close to 40% it should be “ok” to completely lift the restrictions, they couldn’t be any further from the correct answer to solving the East Coast’s drought problem. Just because the dams are 40% it is clearly illogical for residence to be able to use whatever level of water consumption they please.

We need to make these sugary drinks not so easy to buy. Everyday the soda companies come out with some new drink to suck us in to buying them and getting us hooked. Pepsi and coke are famous for this, but we still feel the need to try the drinks that come out. Even though most of us know that these drinks we consume are bad for us. In conclusion I believe having a tax that increases the prices on sugary drinks is a good place to start for the obesity epidemic.

Water Bottle Argument The use of bottled water is a controversial topic. Some people claim that water bottles are bad for the environment. They tend to focus on the waste of producing and disposing bottles and also how transporting the bottles can cause many inefficiencies. It has even been said to drink tap water in order to save money and the planet. These facts are based off the estimate made by The Earth Policy Institute which stated that about 1.5 million barrels of oil are used to make water bottles each year when instead this oil could be used to fuel about 100,000 cars.

We as humans need around eight to twelve cups per day to make up for the fact that throughout normal functions such as breathing and sweating we lose an average of ten cups per day. To make sure that we are healthy and everything runs properly, we must make sure we drink the right amount of water. The one question when thinking about water is what type of water will you drink?
One of the many down sides is that it is horribly expensive. One twenty-four ounce can of powdered formula can cost you up to twenty -four dollars, and a four pack of already ready eight ounce bottles can cost thirty-nine dollars. Adding that up over the first year that is going to add up to a very pretty penny. Another downside to formula feeding is that your baby will not be able to receive the antibodies that are provided in breast milk but is not in formula, thus far making them more susceptible to getting sick. Many formula fed babies also tend to suffer from intestinal issues.
