If the Yup’iks found someone who needed food, they would be more than happy to give them some of their own.On the other hand, we Americans catch excessive amounts of fish which could cause problems in the future, when there could be no more fish to catch. The Yup’ik’s way of looking at life is much more peaceful and simple. While you look at their views of independent thinking and their sharing of goods and items with strangers, you will realize how much our societies differ. The Yup’ik people work together as one
The main point would be, that you cannot always be careful for others, you should teach them to think right and do good, after all there is a saying: “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime”. The main similarity between Job and J.B. is their attitude towards God. The both agree that God doesn't have a reason to take away good. If God gives, why wouldn’t he have a right to take away?
It was a place where they “can try out odd ideas” (Frazier p54) and do whatever they feel like doing, without having to worry about what others may think. They did stuff like stomping on ice, throwing rocks at a mudflat, or shooting frogs with slingshots; and even though this things may seem pointless in an adult’s point of view, it gave them the sense of freedom to just let loose and break free from everything else in our society. To Frazier, the importance of having marginal spaces became more evident when he reached his adulthood. For example, when he mentioned about going fishing with his children and letting them play in the mud, he didn’t bother stopping them, because he knew in the back of his mind that those “pointless activities” are important. As he mentioned, our lives get more jammed up as we grow up, and that is why the idea of marginal places was more evident to Frazier as an adult because he realized that it is important to take a break from all the work in the economic world.

The dream left me feeling that I'm part of something much bigger than myself and that the movement toward a certain outcome and destination is out of my control. As an artist I certainly feel like a salmon. So many creative ones out there being driven by passion to express themselves! Also, the timing of this work is particularly cosmic as we struggle through the worst Recession since the Great Depression. There are many concerns for our planet as all humans strive to survive and make the world a better place for future generations.
The underlying reasons a character carries out an action are often hidden deep in the words of the poem. The speaker in Elizabeth Bishop's “The Fish” ultimately releases the fish due to her newfound respect towards him. This newfound respect is highlighted by the use of diction and descriptive detail. The use of diction is a key element to reveal the speaker's respect for the fish. The us of the word “tremendous” not only allows the speaker to show the size of the fish, but also help the reader grasp the effect the fish has on the speaker.

Patience will sometimes come at a great price because a mental health worker can get clothes ripped off, stabbed with foreign objects, teeth knocked out and broken bones. It is easy to throw in the towel when an individual does not want to do their laundry or their meal time active treatment but keep in mind that everyone these individuals have come in contact with have hurt them, lied to them and given up on them; patience is critical and without it your career in mental health services will be short lived. Human services are not a luxurious, high paying, high profile career. Mental Health human services can be grunt work it can be stressful and at times it can be downright frustrating. The people who do this kind of work and make a career out of do not do it because of any fame or lucrative multimillion dollar contract that they are going to earn at the end of the season; they do it because they love what they do.
Skid Row has become my place of familiarity, my safe haven. Determination, strength and will are qualities I learned at a young age because of experiences or things I witnessed. Playing on these streets, I, like most kids, have fallen. However, most children have their parents run and clean up their scrape when they fall, I learned to pick myself up and dust myself off; to simply play harder and smarter. The standard of education is low in the inner-city, and the expectation to succeed in my studies was even lower.
