As educators we have the power to grant our students access to the highest of human achievements: Art. The text addresses several important benefits for students. Among them are the facts that “art helps students to learn to adapt to, work with, and respect others (p 44). Perhaps one of the most important things to note about art is that anyone can do art, since there is no right or wrong way to complete a task. It provides a stage for building self esteem.
My students will develop a community that respects each other in the classroom as well as out of the classroom. Once these goals have been met I feel that the rest of the year will be smooth sailing! (Gallagher, 1999-2012). In the field of education, good classroom management is essential ( Froyer & Iverson, 1999) . Encouraging and establishing student self-control through a process of promoting positive student achievement and behavior is what every classroom needs.
In a school there are many other people to consider as your team rather than just the people you work with closely on a daily basis. Knowing and executing your role as an individual to the best of your ability allows you to be a valued member of any team. It is also essential to know the roles of those around you. This allows you to fully understand and support each other. By working as a team you can gain valuable knowledge from those who are more experienced than you, but it also allows you to suggest newer and fresher ways to approach learning.
This will benefit both yourself and the company as it will expand your knowledge base and help to improve productivity and efficiency within your organisation. Assessment Criteria 2.5 The purpose of treating others with honesty, respect and consideration is to help create a positive, professional and friendly environment and to also improve the overall happiness and job satisfaction of all employees. The benefits of this will help strong and trusting relationships to exist between colleagues, to give a feeling of being valued and respected and helps colleagues to understand one another. It will benefit the company as employees are more likely to meet their deadlines and be happy with their jobs making the company run more smoothly,

Some schools’ mission statement is the modern equivalent to a motto. “Although our pupils achieve well, we are interested in more than just results. We aim to provide an inspiring, stimulating and enjoyable education for all our pupils, introducing them to a wealth of exciting experiences across the whole curriculum.” How is this reflected? : The pupils’ achievements not only academic but also sporting, artistic, performing and behaviour, both in and out of school are recognised. There is a positive culture of learning and development that is celebrated by merits, certificates, displays and praise from teaching staff.
Students will be less focused in school, and less likely to continue their educations, if they dread going to school each day. Including art and music in he curriculum will motivate students, and will inspire them to enjoy school. It will also give them a creative outlet. Many young people have trouble expressing their emotions in words, but find that the can communicate their ideas through music and art. Giving students an opportunity to create every day will keep them engaged in learning, keep frustration at bay, and lead to happier, more fulfilled children.
Now a freshman in college, teachers still praise me to use in (as well as students in my classes) in school projects, essays, and artwork to be as creative as possible. If anything teachers don't try to diminish creativity they encourage it! They give us constant exercises to practice the use of our creativeness. Sometimes they even reward a certain person in the class for the most creative piece of work by giving them extra
Being an RA/CA will help improve me being much more responsible with a job. Whenever I have a job I am responsible. But I feel as though I can never be more responsible. I take any job I have seriously. I hope to be a great asset to the school.
It helps students acquire the critically thinking skills needed to succeed once they are done with high school. With the Common core standards the use of common language to help students know and understand what they are learning is beneficial. Another thing that common core standards are good for, if they are implemented throughout the United States, is that no matter where a student lives and or moves to they will not be behind as everyone will have the same framework to use. The result will be an easier transition from one school to another school, academically speaking. Along with positives for the students, there are positives for the teacher’s also.
