I just feel the way for an athlete to be in the best shape is to do the right type of training and that is running, lifting, and abs that is the way to go. I my opinion I think you just have to be determined to do what your mind is set to do, if not you won't become the athlete you want to be I think. You just have to have the drive to do what you got to do, that's why the military training is the way to do it because you want it bad enough you will work to do all the work outs that you need to do. The newer generation I don't think is as tough as the stuff you have to do as the military things, I feel like you need to push your self harder to become better off and be that athlete that everyone wants to be. Like an example is LeBron James I don't think he does any zumba or p90x stuff, I guarantee that he is out there doing conditioning stuff and lifting weights because that is what the athletes like to do.

JROTC prepares me for the future by allowing me to gain these skills. In addition, JROTC helps me to have a higher self-esteem while also informing me of healthy lifestyles. It teaches me to build self-esteem by improving my strength and mind. During physical training, I gain strength and learn more about how to maintain healthy lifestyles.
