Importance of Physical Activity Physical activity is one of the most important things we all can and should do to keep our body in healthy shape. By physical activity it doesn’t only mean the vigorous weight lifting, running, aerobics, martial arts, games and sports but also the modest thing such as jogging, walking, and swimming. There are many health conditions that doesn’t require pill to be swallowed every day on a routine basis but a tiny amount of time invested in physical activities are worth it. It is always anticipated that the more active we are the more we will benefit. Physical activities are beneficial for both mental and physical health. It has also been considered as a tool for boosting up social life. Everyday physical activity is good for overall well being of an individual. As we all know that the biggest health concerns among majority of Americans are obesity. It has reached to an alarming point but we can do U turn in order to maintain healthy weight. But it is also unanimously admitted fact that simple physical activity can help keep our brain sharp and strengthen our cognitive power.
