Another reason students join CAB is for the planning of events. Most people I know get excited when planning huge, fun events. While planning these events, you may learn tips on how to plan and coordinate events for later in life. You also get a chance to meet famous artists such as Ludacris and The Fray during the week of Spring Fever, which is another reason why students join. Jarred Denzel stated, “I joined CAB because I was new transfer student and I wanted to make friends and I got on the executive board for CAB because they pay for your tuition and we have more responsibilities than the regular CAB
He offered a lot of help and was willing to make notes on my paper to attempt at helping me make my paper the best it could possibly be. I really appreciate his time and effort and definitely took in to account some of the great and helpful feedback he gave me. Another person I would also like to shortly thank is Professor Miller. She took the time out of her busy schedule to sit down and have a conference with me and go over any questions. It made it easier to figure out exactly what she was looking for in my paper.
_When I walked into SNAPS class I had mixed thoughts on how the semester would go, but as the school year is wrapping up, I am pleased with the new knowledge I have on autism. Throughout the year I had great pleasure working with Anders. I also enjoyed finding new ways to motivate him into working and make him smile. Not only did the book help explain problems with Anders and the solutions, but it also expanded my knowledge on autism. Although I am exited for summer, I am going to miss SNAPS class and the learning that came from it.
Therefore, they do work in there Akron office on Wednesday for half day and the rest at the Hudson office. Overall I had a great time hear and I look forward to going back again and learning more. At the very end the administrative assistant asked me how I liked it; and I told her I learned a lot and really enjoyed it and she went on to tell me good, I talked to the girls on lunch and they really liked you and he is looking to high someone so try to come back as much as you can. These Lunch and Learns occur on Fridays from noon to one, and they are the most helpful workshops that I have ever attended. These workshop topics vary each Friday, from time management to learning how to take good notes in class. They provide food and it is a huge encouragement for me to know that there is help out there for those of us who are struggling in school, like me. The TRIO program also does campus tours, which are also very encouraging. The campus tours showed me that an education in our home town or community college is not the only option.
Re: Telecommuting Proposal Employers nationwide are embracing a practice that improves employee morale, increases productivity and helps employee retention. Telecommuting (also called telework or flexplace ) is contributing to the bottom line—cost savings and increased productivity— while providing flexibility for employees. I am interested in exploring the possibility of working from home two days per week. I have taken the time to research what other employers have done to allow this privilege and I hope you will consider my request based on my past performance and my contributions to the department. I believe I am an especially suitable candidate for a telework arrangement.
I would like to thank you for your support in my idea and I look forward to working more closely with you. Have a great weekend! Compare and Contrast In the first email I was letting the committee member know about the date of the meeting and also letting them know what the meeting was about. In the second email I was thanking a committee member for all the help that they provided me with my proposal. The differences between the emails is one was a bit more professional in letting the committee member know about what was going on and what was expected of them.
This was a very pleasant and unforgettable experience for me and my fellow classmates. Monday through Thursday we were at our respectable classes and on Fridays we came back to our class and discussed how our week went. I learned that I love making children happy and it was right for me. I learned how to plan assignments that were fun and educational; this was because I worked with special needs children and the physical education class. I believe this would help me because it helped me open up and not be afraid to make sure the rules were followed, class ran smoothly, and everyone was safe.
Some skills that I have received from my mentors and supervisors that I have had the privilege of working with are that I have become more comfortable in public settings, improving my verbal skills on a professional level and having to draft letters of intent for field trips, fundraisers and order forms which has greatly improved my written communication skills as well. I believe that these skills that I have obtained throughout my year of tutoring can gravely benefit me in the full time classroom setting. Over the past year, the AVID Coordinator has been training me in
He said because he was a teacher he was able to hang out with his wife and kids more than he would if he was in another job. I have really enjoyed my time as an exploratory teacher and very grateful I had the opportunity. It has given me the chance to see what being a teacher is like from an outside perspective. I have witnessed teachers my whole life as a student but this was the first time that I really got to see what goes in everyday to being a teacher. I have learned that it’s not as easy as it looks and I also have learned that being a teacher is not always fun and games.
