I love well written books that I can visualize with as I am reading. I love an author that can use words and phrases to keep me guessing throughout the book, it gives me the urge to want to know what is going to happen next. I want to keep reading to get to the end to fully understand what the author’s purpose is. I love a story that is very detailed because it gives me the chance to place myself in the story and really get into it.
This book has inspired me to read books more often considering the fact that I only read if it is mandatory such as for a school assignment. Although my favorite genre of books are teenage fiction books, I also like to read any type of fiction books. I would prefer to read a teenage fiction book because I like to be able to relate to different events that unfold in the book that I am reading. I like to be able to have a connection or something in common with a character from the book. This book was one of my personal favorites because me and the main character, Anne, had a lot in common.
No one should be hated because of where they are from or what they look like. I can somewhat relate to this novel in the family and school sort of way. I have a very loving family (not a mean dad), and my school experience is and will be a lot like Francisco’s. I am planning on going through high school and college, just like Francisco. In the main character, Dennis’s voice. To my opinion I really enjoyed the novel I have read. Pete Hauntman is way of writing really catches your intention, and keeps me on the edge of me seat. Though I wished he included more ways for the character to overcome his addiction. Hautman's writing style is quite straight-forward, occasionally humorous, and attention-grabbing.
(bookrags.com) His work for young adults has also drawn great praise and respect. He is greatly appreciated for his rich language, crazy plots, and sophistication of theme that does not show itself directly in the novel which creates readers to think deeper while reading. (bookrags.com) This analyst would have to say that Tim Wynne-Jones has had a remarkable career in literature. He has won many awards and is extremely popular with the children throughout
No matter where you go or what you do, you will always find a friend in something or someone. Whether its your classmate that you find that friendship with or whether its your love for art, there is always friendship in life. I recommend that this book be a required reading, because i think it has many possible lessons to teach, and is written very
Stephen King was saying that confidence in prose will grow along with reading. King mentions that even reading bad books can be just as helpful as reading the great works of literature. These poorly written works can help the reader see and learn what not to do. For example, “Characters sat down to supper aboard their
How school systems always get them I trouble for showing their masculinity. They in other words feminize them to become nicer people and not to show their rowdy and dangerous side. This leads men to become very bored and makes it harder for them to seek the adventure they long so much for. I really liked the book and he bakes up what he says with various scripture references to passages in the Bible. This is good and helps me understand what he is trying to tell me.
