In addition, some school heads believe that school uniforms vanishes social, economic and class divisions and inculcate a sense of pride in students(McCarthy, Lisa). A way bullying can be minimized is by enforcing the use of school uniforms. This way all students are wearing the same clothing, leaving no room for judgment. A large fraction of class time is
You should make lists of what you need to accomplish and if something is not completed then simply move it to the next day. Before you leave your classroom in the afternoon, you should prepare it for the next day so that when you arrive the next morning you are not rushing in to get prepared before the students arrive. Create procedures for repetitive actions that occur so that everyone in your class knows exactly what to expect and it does not cause a disruption when they occur. Managing your classroom will not only cause relief for yourself but will put your students at ease. Establish a few firm rules that are easy to remember and include the class in establishing these rules.
Why it should be valued Diversity should be valued because nobody is completed the same as everybody else. By respecting and valuing the Diversity this can help growth within that person and also within the workplace as they will learn from each other and will be able to be their selves. Within the workplace we make sure that all the students and staff are treated equally. Everyone will have something to offer to the workplace and have strong/skills that they will be able to contribute to the School. This will make the workplace friendlier and welcome to work in.
In schools that require uniforms the student body all look like the same person, very bland and boring people. This is not what American society is; we are casual dressing, diverse people. Dressing casually and showing diversity in our fashion is the best way to recognize students as individual people, showing our American culture – not as part of "those people." Though some may argue that some students dress sloppily or immodestly, most districts have dress codes that students do have to follow, which helps this. Although, most students do take pride in themselves and strive to look nice in a variety of clothing, dressing even quite formally sometimes, because they want to look good, and it makes them feel good about themselves.
Searching Lockers Protects Everyone Why do so many students oppose locker searches in schools? Some students believe these searches invade their privacy and without a probable cause they should not be allowed. Others believe these searches help the school to be safe and therefore probable cause is not necessary. The schools should be allowed to search lockers randomly for the safety and well being of the students and staff. Only one violent student can jeopardize the safety of others.
There is no doubt that children can learn even if they dress as they want. The question not addressed is to what extent fashion, and the tendency of moden children to focus on fashion, distracts from the academic program. This issue is generally avoided by those who argue that dress is unrelated to academics. High cost The economics of school uniform is hotly debated. School uniform was in part adopted by some American schools so children would not try to outdo each other with highh-priced designer clothes.
Children should have ensured the highest level of education tailored to their individual needs. The school should be sure that every child has an access to school life regardless of their background. Schools cannot discriminate against pupils or treat them less favourably because of their sex (gender), race, disability, religion or belief, gender reassignment, sexual orientation or pregnancy or maternity. Therefore actively promote equal opportunities for all pupils is so important. Children and young people play an important role in making decisions regarding school life and school services.
The Clark County School districts policies were not intending to squelch free speech but instead were aimed at ‘creating an educational environment free from the distractions, dangers, and disagreements that result when student clothing choices are left unrestricted,’ said Judge Michael Hawkins.” (Egelko) If there is not a distraction of what people are wearing, there is more of a chance that students would focus more on learning. School is not holding a fashion show! Students are the leaders of tomorrow and the outrageous outfits worn by students need not to distract them. According to an opposing viewpoints resource center it says, “Uniforms instill discipline, helps students focus on their studies and eliminate
The vocational nature of the qualification that our students undertake is of a very structured nature with students developing skills required to undertake practical assessments, as a result of this the learning that takes place allows students to develop at their own pace and to a level that allows them to achieve their full potential. I also apply the same principles whenever I use a classroom making it a welcoming environment that is conducive to learning, I actively encourage students to participate in my lessons and I believe that no student should ever be afraid to ask a question or give an answer to a question in any of my classes. I make the work given to students appropriate to their ability and wherever possible use examples and illustrations that are relevant to their environment outside of school. In developing and promoting appropriate behaviour within school, we have adopted ground rules that students are aware of from the very beginning; we do not tolerate bullying, racial comments, discrimination of any form, inappropriate language or disrespectful behaviour all of which
I think in some points dress code is the best way not to discrimination between poor and rich. If there is dress code in school than everyone can afford it. The most important thing about wearing uniforms in the school is to look perfect and equal. Dress code is very easy for the spot. Dress codes in the school make us recognize our school students.
