Despite the wealth of Asian visibly and global reputation of the United States may have been tarnished over the past few years, this does not appear to be putting people off wanting to leave their homeland to settle in the United States. Over one million people from all over the world arrive to live across the US’ 50 states each year; economic, political environment, educational…is some of reason to make the United States become the world’s most popular emigration destination. Probably one of the most reasons is economic migration, as many people immigrate to the US to be the search for a better life, and an improved standard of living. The largest majority of people immigrating is those seeking employment and are of working age. They are hard worker, and most think it is extremely important for immigrants to work and stay away from social security. Mikki Batsaikhan, my Mongolian friend who is living in the US for 15 years, said she always teach her children that a person has to work very hard in this country to make it — nobody gives you anything for free. “The presence of all immigrant workers in the labor market makes the U.S. economy (GDP) an estimated 11 percent larger ($1.6 trillion) each year” (Borjas, 2013). Another reasons why immigrate choose immigration to the US is education. People around the world have recognized that the United States educational system is considered the best educational systems in the world. In Asian like China, Korean, Vietnam.., has pretty good universities but you have done well in the college entrance exam is an once-in-a-lifetime; you will not have another chance. American universities have more freedom; you can move parts, or even universities. You can improve your grade point average and go to a good university halfway over.
