Illegal Immigration and their Impact on the United States Have you ever wondered why our cities are becoming smaller and smaller by the minute? No, they are not sinking into the ground, and no they are certainly not being shrunk by alien rays from flying objects. Only one other possible explanation can be drawn, illegal immigrants. They come to the United States in , as they say, hopes for a better future for their families. They take all of our and jobs and money and send it back to their families in their country of origin. Not only do they exploit our economy by sending money to their families, but they are reluctant to learn and speak the language of this country, English. I believe that most, if not all, citizens of the United States would agree that getting rid of Illegal Immigrants would increase economical and social aspects of our nation. In order to solve this problem, one must start at the root. First, we must prevent all illegal immigrants from entering the United States. This has been attempted various numbers of times, and all attempts have failed miserably. In the late 1990’s, the INS suggested the “Operation Gatekeeper”. This consisted of the construction of an 1800 mile long fence across the US and Mexican border. At first, one would believe that this would work. Unfortunately, the United States government failed to recognize that Mexicans are and always have been great athletes, thus the task of jumping a 30 foot fence would be as easy as a walk in the park. This has lead me to attack the problem of illegal immigration in a way that has never been done before. Instead of making the fence a physical challenge, I propose we make it a mental obstacle for Mexican Immigrants. It is a well known fact that Mexicans are the second least intellectual of all immigrants, (right below the Asians of course). Therefore I propose to install mirrors on the
