It is a microscopic organism consisting of genetic material. They cannot reproduce without a host cell. Several human diseases are caused by viruses which include:- smallpox, measles, the common cold, chickenpox, hepatitis, HIV, cold sores, shingles to name but a few. Viruses can spread from person to person, and by exchange of salvia, coughing, sneezing. Fungi Fungi are skin infections caused by dermatophytes and yeasts, which are groups of fungi that are normally harmless.
One is crossing the border illegally by land. Another way get into the US are by false identities or by stolen, or falsified passports. Another way is by illegal smuggling boats. “Others enter with legal documentation and then violate the terms on which they have been admitted by taking jobs that are not authorized or overstaying the authorized period of stay in the country” (Illegal Immigration) A bad side to having such a large amount of illegal immigrants in the nation is the crime rate and prison population caused by certain “illegals”. “Illegal immigration is a major cause in the overcrowding of our schools and our prisons.” (Bender, David) Michael Huffington, a former member of the US House of Reps. For California says that, “Many illegal immigrants come for two purposes that are both destructive and expensive: to commit crimes or to receive government benefits.” (Huffington, 63) “For instance, the 18th Street gang in Southern California is one of the nation’s most violent street gangs with a staggering 20,000 members.
America’s primary goal is national security and when thousands of illegal immigrants travel into the U.S. each year, any one of those illegal immigrants could have plans to wreak havoc on this country. Gang members could be affiliated with terrorist groups who have ill-intentions for America, jeopardizing public safety (I’d rather my pink Caddy not have bullet holes in it). Along with the violence, illegal immigrants take jobs away from legal residence (right about here is where I ran out of stuff to say so I B.S.-ed it to make it longer, just bein’ honest). It’s proven that illegal immigrants are more likely to do lower paying jobs that involve more labor than legal Americans, but in the long run those jobs would be filled by previously un-employed citizens. This would strengthen America’s economy in the long run and reduce how much the government pays out to

Immigration Debate Itis highly argued that illegal immigrants should have right to get citizenship. Today there is an estimated 700,000 illegal citizens living in the United States today illegally without citizenship. There are tons of illegal immigrants taking american jobs making it hard for americans to find a job that fits there college degree. That's not fair to Americans. There are some people in the U.S who say illegal immigrants should get citizenship.
Understanding the causes and spread of infection The differences are that bacteria are an organism which produces toxins which grow and then divide. Virus - are smaller than a cell. It can't reproduce outside the cell unlike bacteria, so they invade the cells and inject the genes into the nucleus and creates copies of itself Fungi - causes disease by absorbing nutrients, and producing toxins Bacteria, fungi and viruses are all separate entities and are completely different from each other. Parasites, however, can refer to a number of different things including bacteria, fungi and viruses. A parasite is any organism which lives inside a different organism in a symbiotic relationship in which only the parasite benefits from the symbiosis.
Common symptoms are acral necrosis of the extremities (such as the toes, fingers, lips and tip of the nose), high fever, nausea, vomiting, and breathing difficulty. Left untreated, Yersinia pestis can multiply rapidly in the bloodstream, possibly causing septicemic plague or even creep towards the lungs causing pneumonic plague. In order to diagnose bubonic plague, testing in the laboratory is required. Identification of the bacterium Yersinia pestis culture in a sample of serum from a patient’s blood is used for confirmation of the
Avary Johnson BILOL 104 Assignment 1 Chapter 28 Introducing Invertebrates Pg.547 #8 Describe the parasitic flatworms, and give the life cycle of both blood fluke that causes Schistosomiasis and the pork tapeworm. They are flukes and tapeworms of parasitic flatworms which are highly modified for the parasitic mode of life. Illegal Immigration- A Problem at the U.S Borders Illegal immigration has been a problem at the U.S/Mexican border for years. According to the Center for Immigration Studies, in 2008 there were about 11 million illegal immigrants in the United States in 2008. One of the problems that are caused by this is that illegal aliens are getting jobs in America. These jobs that they are getting should be going to true Americans that are legal. Some people have been looking for a job for a long time, and the illegal immigrants are taking them.
