Fighting for peoples right's Immigration is a huge issue going on in the United States right now. June Johnson talks about immigration in Chapter 5, and he gives different people’s views on it. Chapters 5 discuss the issues about immigration, and the problems they bring to the United States. 150 million people or 2.5% of the world's population live outside their country of birth (Johnson 219). It also gives personal stories on how illegal immigrants mainly from Mexico are treated and cheated of their pay checks. The guide on chapter 5 is designed to appeal to its audience by asking questions, and by describing the danger in crossing the border. Clearly this seems to be impossible. I believe that if America would help out Mexico better their economy we would not be in so much dept. because we are spending too much money on securing the border. Neither the book nor the article I choose talk about helping other countries so we can better ourselves. America has tried everything that could be thought of, but may be if we would put ourselves in the their position we would understand their pain and urge to migrate to other countries. Illegal immigration gives a lot to talk about, and plenty of reasons why America should help to fix the situation. America should not harm or kill immigrants just because they want to come to the United States, instead we should investigate the reasons behind it and we should not jump into constructions. America should give a visa card to those who want to work because illegal immigrants could help America a lot in the work force. Last but not least America should find a way to help better the economy in other countries since we seem not to want immigrants in our
