Randy’s lecture has become a phenomenon, as has the book he wrote based on the same principles, celebrating the dreams we all strive to make realities. Sadly, Randy lost his battle to pancreatic cancer on July 25th, 2008, but his legacy will continue to inspire us all. Matt loves his little sister Kate; they used to be really close. They always play together and talk to each other when they were young. Matt wants to share the experiences that Kate has been through but Kate did not understand. Kate was escaping from the real world and she believed that Matt was having a terrible life. During the Simon’s (Matt and Marie’s son) birthday party, there were some conversations between Kate, Daniel and Kate, Marie; Marie told Kate to face the truth that Matt’s life was not a failure, and he love his son, his family and the farm.
There is no longer a reason to be angry. The irony of these two stories is in Ordinary People, a death tore the family apart, where in this story, it brought them together. When George dies, Sam completely realizes how much he loves him. He will do anything to keep his father alive, so he finishes the house. Sam’s loss lets him love, and appreciate the rest of his family even more.
Krebs seemed to have a very caring mother and father. Although Krebs’s father is only mentioned a couple times throughout the story you can somewhat tell his intentions towards Krebs when he agrees to let him take the family car. The incident between Krebs and his mother in the story proves that his mother wants the best for Krebs and is very encouraging, although the conversation results in his mother crying she still continues to accept his apology and encouraging him. On Thursday October 11, 2012 guest speaker Larry Hirsch presented a lecture of his parent’s survivor story as holocaust survivors. Many would have believed that Larry would have spoken of sadness and death surrounding his parent. Instead, he spoke of how their lives came to be, beginning with his mother because she had deceased at a young age. Larry then spoke in detail of his father and all of the accomplishments he had made with his wife. Their story was very touching and could make a believer out of anyone that no matter what struggle you face in life you can still succeed.
Concerning Lance’s name, I think that he wanted to reveal that a name is just a name and he has no relation to the family and doesn’t intend to either. I think he wanted to express his love for his family and friends and show his gratitude towards them for helping him through such a tough stage in his life, especially his mum. I think Lance just wanted to tell the world how happy he is now and that he survived a tough stage in his life, possibly wanting to reach out to other cancer patients to help them through their ordeal
But more than anything, his ability to find joy in the simple things in life was just plain beautiful. I found this documentary mesmerizing, heart breaking and simply inspiring. I loved this film,I sat down with my husband and daughter today and watched this. My mother has bi-polor and yes it is as hard on the people she loves and are around her, but because she s my mother ,I will always be there for her. She tales out anger on me because she knows I will take it and not blame her but blame the disese.

I did them because I was supposed to, because it was my turn to do things for her, and because I was trying to make up for any wrong I had ever done her.” (Bragg, pg. 151) His mother made many sacrifices for her boys when she was growing up, and Bragg was compassionate to his mother. He loved her so much and wanted her to live a comfortable life. This can strike a note with most readers, as most people feel attached to their mothers and would do anything to make them happy.
I don't even want to walk them. I plan on asking one of the principals if I can just use the elevator to get up and down for now on. Regardless, I think I understand better now. I'm a Soccer Sidekick, and I've been proudly supporting the soccer teams the entire season, but now at every game I think I'll cheer a little bit louder, because they were there to cheer me on when I needed it, and most of all, I can't wait to see those super freaks go to
