If I were a boy… I can only imagine what life would be like if I were to pop out boy. In my deepest thoughts I always wondered and still wonder to this day how different my life could be if I were to be born with a penis. At times I would imagine it’s easier to be a male rather then female. Although boys don’t always have it as easy as walk in the park. I would have to make many adjustments in almost all my aspects of life to be perfect boy. If I were born a male, my name would be Vincent. The reason why I chose this name is because of my grandmother. My grandmother and I are best friends; we share everything with each other. So, like in most cultures you are able to take the name of the deceased, her name is Valentina. Even though she’s old fortunately, she hasn’t passed away. But non-the less I would still like to name myself in her honor. Furthermore I just would like to keep with my culture. I can’t imagine being anything other than a Russian Jew. To many people, the religion in which they were born into is considered the best. I observed quite a few religions in my young age and I do believe Judaism to be one of the best. In my belief, faith is the primary part of whom a person becomes. Therefore, today i chose my life to be the way it is on a daily basis. Growing up in a non-religious Russian-Jewish household I believe couldn’t be fun. Even though I was raised Jewish, we always had and still have a Christmas tree as well as a menorah. We celebrate both Hanukkah and Christmas. Celebrating both holidays means more presents to open! My first change would be my physical appearance because that’s what the world is attracted to at first. I could imagine myself being 6’2, chestnut colored hair, big, piercing hazel eyes, yet warm and compassionate. For my facial features, they would be very gentle since I take after my mom.
