Rule 1050 TEAM COMPOSITION A Senior Synchronized Skating Championship of Australia team must consist of at least twelve (12) but not more than sixteen (16) persons and may include both ladies and men. Rule 1051 The Senior Synchronized Skating Championship of Australia shall be in two parts: 1. A short program 2. A free skating program. Rule 1052 OPEN SYNCHRONIZED SKATING CHAMPIONSHIP OF AUSTRALIA Participation in an Open Synchronized Skating Championship of Australia shall be open to financial members of a State Association in a team: No more than 25% of the members of the Team are competing in another team at the same championships. In the event that any calculation results in a fraction of less than one whole team member, the result will be rounded up in the event that the fraction is 0.5 or more, and rounded down when the fraction is less than 0.5. Rule 1053 An Open Synchronized Skating Championship of Australia team must consist of at least nine (9) but not more than sixteen (16) persons and may include both ladies and men. Rule 1054 The Open Synchronized Skating Championship of Australia shall consist of a Free Skating Program only. Rule 1055 BASIC NOVICE COMPETITION Participation in a Basic Novice Competition shall be open to financial members of a Club or State Association in a team: No more than 50% of the members of which have competed at a higher level (including Advanced Novice) either Club, State, National or elsewhere in the preceding season. No more than 25% of the members of the Team are competing in another team at the same championships. No member of the team shall have attained the age of 15 by July 1 preceding the competition.
