Essay on I see you never The United States is the land of opportunities. Many people immigrate every year, hoping to start up a new life and earn a lot of money. The last 150 years, people have immigrated to the United States. In the story we hear about Mr. Ramirez, who is moving from Mexico to the United States. I see you never is a short story about a Mexican man, who had moved to the United States of America. The Mexican man’s name is Mr. Ramirez. Mr. Ramirez is living at Mrs. O’Brian’s rooming house, and had lived there for the last two years. One day two police officers fetch Mr. Ramirez, because he has lived in USA for too many months. He only had a temporary visa for 24 months. And he had been living in USA for 30 months. *1Du skal skrive en tragtindledning og bliv i nutid/før nutid. Mr. Ramirez is a Mexican man, who immigrates to USA, and settled down in Los Angeles. His complexion is brown and has dark eyes. Just after moving he buys a radio and wrist-watch. He enjoys both things very much. During and after the war he is working on an airplane factory, making parts for the planes. On the factory he makes much money. He uses some of them having fun, he likes going to restaurants, riding streetcars or buying gifts for his lady friends. But he only gets drunk ones a week. The relationship between Mr. Ramirez and Mrs. O’Brian is just normal, for the reason that Mr. Ramirez is a very good tenant. But at the end of the story Mr. Ramirez realizes that Mrs. O’Brian has been good to him, and he will never see her again. An example (line 78, page 2):”Goodbye, Mrs. O’Brian.
