I was always told that I was a clairvoyant child, wise beyond my years. I knew I was not the same as other kids from an early age. At the young age of six, I began develop insomnia. During my sleepless nights, I would constantly stare at my vibrant hot pink bedroom wall and suddenly have vague premonitions of future events. I would see images on the wall of random people and places. It was without a doubt strange and formidable. I was informed that I had psychic abilities. I travelled to about twenty different countries, attending to various doctor appointments; I met with several specialists every three months searching for solutions. However, they all gave me peculiar diagnostics, such as having a type of neurological disorder or a psychotic disorder such as schizophrenia. It was when my parents discovered Dr. Holmes that they finally found answers. They were on a business trip to New York when they found him; he was performing an educational seminar at the hotel they were staying at. He was one of the best, well-known and greatly respected doctors in the country. I remember the first time I met with Dr. Holmes; I was merely seven years old. He spoke with me, as if he understood my dilemmas. He worked with a few patients who had the psychic abilities in the past. However his work was confidential therefore he could not give away information. I went to his sessions on Friday nights. Although it was a pain attending the sessions, it really helped me understand my ‘power’. He was in his mid forties at the time, he was said to be a prodigy. His dark chocolate brown hair was fading into a greyish hue. He wore black thick rimmed glasses. Through the eyes of a petite five year old he seemed abnormally tall.
