I am a Witness to the Word I am a witness to the word. A word not said nor preached by just an ordinary lips, but spoken on His majesty, the King of all kings. It was the word that brought light to the darkness and provided path for the lost. “This word was with God, and this word was God (Jn 1:1).” I heard this word and all of us did. I have seen it and my own hands have touched it. “When life became visible, we saw it; so we speak of it and tell about the eternal life which was with the Father and was made known to us (1 Jn 1:1-2).” Proclaiming it is a mission – our mission. And, I am created to fulfill this mission. My hunger for the clear purpose and mission of my life was supplied by this thought – to introduce God to others. This mission was given to all the human race, and, as a Christian witness, I am to fulfill this mission. Mission to let others know who He really is. What greater mission can I think about? A mission rather than just satisfying myself with my own wants and needs but instead finding real peace and happiness deep in my heart. Mission of proclaiming Christ as the only way to abundant, eternal life. Mission of sharing the Gospel to the lost world through God’s wisdom and strength. I am a Christian witness – witness with faith, guided by light. To fulfill the mission means believing it in the first place. Yes, I do believe in Him. My life revolves around Him. He is the beginning, He too is the ending. I must live not for myself but for Him; serving and believing in Him. I must proclaim the glory of His name for I am a witness to the
