Ryan LaMar MGMT597 – Course Project Case #47.6 This case involves a lawsuit between Marsha Hamilton and Andrea Morris. Hamilton is the plaintiff in this case and Morris is the defendant. Hamilton is suing Morris for damages because Morris misplaced Hamilton’s watch. Both parties seem as though they may have had a few too many alcoholic beverages at the party since Hamilton had to use the bathroom because she began feeling sick and Morris can’t recall what she did with the watch. The consumption of alcoholic beverages shouldn’t have any bearing toward who wins this case, but it is something to note.
The results were that the chance of developing a cold correlated with stress index scores. The life event lowered the immune function and increased vulnerability to the virus. However there were several problems with this research, one of which was that it was an indirect study- there was no direct measure of the immune system for example no blood test or medical test was taken as evidence. Consequently we cannot determine how far the participant’s immune system was affected in relation to the stress. Another key problem was that there were was no direct manipulation of the independent variable so the study doesn’t tell us which element of the stress index is most important and related to the decrease in immune function.

Amy Frazine Professor Lockard English 102/Online October 13, 2012 “Human Conclusion to a Dog Delusion” Is it really a dog eat dog world? Or, is it more like a human eat human world? Why is one so quick to cast judgment upon what another may do, especially concerning their pet? Look all around; the framed photograph on your sister’s wall of her pet pooch wearing sunglasses, the neighbor next door, walking her poodle, dressed in a fluffy pink sweater and a Gucci collar. This is the popular, growing trend of humanizing pets.

That didn't stop her though, because the next day she scared Lennie while he was sadly petting his dead puppy. He tried to ignore her at first but ended up talking, and shared about his love for soft things. She then let Lennie stroke her hair a bit; but when he started petting her hair harder she started to complain. Soon she was screaming and moving around trying to get him to undo his harsh grip. He panicked and was yelling at her to stop squirming; he didn't want to get in trouble with George.

Any factors can result in long-lasting changes in the loss of smell due to various allergies and various types of surgeries, but no linkage to death at all.
