Human Nature Twylla Evette Donson HU: 300 Art and Humanities September 27, 2012 My Life in a Glance My whole life is revolved around my career choice. I don’t want to be in school forever, but I want to make enough money so that I can take care of my family independently. I am constantly thinking of ways to make my family’s economic situation better. I often ask myself questions like, “If I could only get a better paying job”, or “Should I just go back to school for a business degree?” I know in the end, I would eventually choose to go back to school, because employers are looking for educated, not just experienced candidates. What I do daily is very important, because I firmly believe that anyone with aspirations for success should take only one step at a time to reach their goals. Right now, I just keep going with my current routine; taking online courses, working full time as a Paraprofessional at a preschool, and managing full time single parenting. I have a simple weekly regimen. I am off on weekends, work Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:45 am and 3:45 pm. After work, I take my two children to the city park for half an hour. When we get home I make dinner, and get online for about an hour of school work, then I prepare my children for bed; they are usually in the bed no later than 8:45 pm Sunday through Thursday. We do not have a specific bedtime for non-school nights. In my spare time alone, which is usually after the children are sleep, I listen to music or watch movies on Netflix. I haven’t watched television since I started back working for the school year. I am mostly surfing the internet or browsing the social networks most of the night. I don’t have a social life outside of work or school. I enjoy being in the comfort of my own home rather than going out with friend’s day or night. I would say that I’m a bit paranoid about
