OBJECTIVE I choose this company for my mid-term assignment paper to identify how this company process and lead the country? How their leaders and subordinates works to achieve their organizational mission and to know how they practice their vision to handle human since this company directly involve or deal with human behavior. To identified how the thoughts and behavior of employees and teams were the factors that make companies effective, that improve employee well-being and that drive successful teams to lead the country and people. Last but not in the least, to know is there this company practice in human governance and how? HISTORY Malayan Banking was founded on 31 May 1960 and is a public company in Malaysia and grew rapidly to more than 150 branches within the first three years. It is the first Malaysian company introduced a Dividend Reinvestment Plan. Malayan Banking Berhad (trading as Maybank, MYX: 1155) is the largest bank and financial group in Malaysia with significant banking operations in Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines and many more countries. The company established Mayban Trustees Bhd (MTB) in 1964. In 1992, Maybank launced Maybank General Assurance Bhd and acquisition of Safety Life & General Insurance Sdn Bhd then relaunched as Mayban Life Assurance. Maybank is the largest bank in Malaysia with 401 domestic branches. Its total revenue for a year RM18.54 billion(2013) and the net income was RM6.55 billion(2013) were the total assets RM560.4 billion(31 December 2013). Maybank is the largest listed company on the Malaysian Stock Exchange, Bursa Malaysia, with a market capitalization of RM89.6billion (USD27.9 billion) as of 30 June 2014. Currently 47,000 employees working for Maybank. The bank also has large interests Islamic banking through Maybank Islamic Berhad and insurance via its Etiqa subsidiary.
