HR Planning is defined “as a systematic analysis of HR needs in order to ensure that correct numbers of employees with the necessary skills are available when they are required. (Mondy et 1996) While developing the program for HR planning, it should be given notice that the objectives which have to be achieved are with the staff members and should be duly attended to as well. It is the main reason behind which the employees are attracted towards the organization. If these are neglected it can lead to lack of motivation amongst the employees resulting in poor performance harming the organization and its reputation. Planning is a difficult process and should be carried out after thorough research of the needs and trends. It is a process which is devised by the HR department and is implemented by the concerned departments for the desired results. Gathering of the information helps in enabling the managers as well as the supervisors in making the right decisions. This information gathering helps to achieve the desired tasks and objectives set by the organization. Information gathering, setting up objectives, proper decision making are the processes involved in HR planning and these help the organization in achieving the desired results. There are certain questions which arise in our minds which can be addressed by proper planning and its implementations. Some of them are as follows: 1. The number of staff hired by the organization? 2. How many employees does the organization have and their types with regard to abilities and skills? 3. How to utilize resources available to the organization? 4. Ways in which the organization can retain its employees? It is necessary for an organization to succeed and move ahead in this century. This feat is achieved by proper HR planning and made sure that it is properly implemented by other departments. It
