It allows students and teachers access to information, show students real world, help with research projects, and prepares for jobs. I believe that with the many technological advances that have been made throughout history computers have made life easier.
In my theory, an effective teacher must also be willing to change and adapt lesson plans based on the needs of the students. This requires good decision-making skills so that a teacher can chose what is best for the student and that will reap the most rewards. Identifying what type of personality is present enables students develop study plans that are best suited for success. As important as it is to understand personal intelligence and personality types, it may become more important to understand the intelligence and personality types of your peers. Group activities and discussions are an integral part of the distance learning. In order for all students to get the most out of these settings, an understanding of how others think, process and react is a must. Understanding the strengths of fellow students allows one to improve areas of weakness by absorbing what is imparted by fellow students.
I hope that my students use the skills that they learn in my classroom so I can help them progress their skills more. Within the teaching of Information Technology, functional skills could be incorporated in activities using word processing packages, spreadsheets, databases, The Internet, electronic quizzes, computer games, video and other forms of multimedia. By designing activities based around computers and technology, Information Technology learners will feel more comfortable and confident completing tasks.
It also helps your child to make connections in their thinking and the way in which problem are solved. This is also going to help your child to develop their self- esteem and self-confidence and also their imagination. Creative development will also improve their learning as children will be able to work together in groups and as a team. Creativity is about taking risks and making connections. It is a way of transforming things using media and materials such as paint, scissors, words, sounds, movement and props.
Each example can be examined by different perspectives, identifying the problems, and suggesting some solutions. Each situation would be different if it was actually happening but a case allows analysis of a real life scenario. Reviewing different cases gives knowledge that will help shape teachers experiences in the classroom. The knowledge teachers can gain from analyzing cases and offering alternate solutions can be applied if similar situations arise in the classroom. Discussing cases in small group settings can be a huge benefit in that each person would bring varying perspectives, critiques and solutions to the table, increasing the knowledge of each teacher more than if they were to just complete individually.
