Today, a lot of people can afford to have a camera in their pocket or even take a picture with their camera phone. Never before is taking a picture so easy. But how to take a nice picture with your camera? It’s still easy, as long as you remember these basic factors: holding your camera correctly, composition, ‘shutter release’. One of the common problems that many people have is ‘camera shake’ where images seem blurry. Not everybody knows how to hold their camera correctly, but this is one of most important things in getting a clear, sharp picture. Always remember to hold your camera with two hands. Use your right hand to grip the right hand end of the camera. Your left hand will support the weight of the camera. Holding the camera in this way will make sure you have the lowest ‘camera shake’, therefore, increase the sharpness of your photos. Next factor is known as the most important factor in photography. People judge a photo depending on its composition. So it is absolutely necessary for you to learn about photography composition if you want to take a nice picture. There are many rules in composition. The ‘Rule of Thirds’ is the most popular one. The picture is broken down into thirds horizontally and vertically so that it has nine equal parts. Now you can see there are four intersection points in the center of the image. Just put your subject into these points and you’re good to go. Why is that? These points seem to draw most attention of the viewers.
