As a nursing supervisor, I could set up the routine meeting and choose a leader for each case. A routine meeting would deliver the message to all team members at the same time, so that it saves time and reduces misunderstandings. I would let the team members freely share patients information and their suggestions. I would assist them to set up integrated goal and get their own tasks.
No matter what the persons circumstances are when using health or social care services they should always be treated fairly and with respect defiantly if they are in a vulnerable state. Communication is also another right of an individual. Every health and social care setting should have trained professionals who know how to convey effective communication to avoid assumptions and discrimination. As the patients or service users should feel comfortable talking to the staff and know what is happening to them or further plans. For example in a hospital setting once a patient has come out of a big operation a staff member should be able to effectively communicate with them and inform them of all the information that is needed to be given to them.

Two such examples are promoting inclusiveness for all within the group and encouraging others. After a group is formed, new members might be added. It could be that a former member left his position at the hospital or it was decided that another department needed to be included in the interdisciplinary team. For the team to work cohesively, all members need to be able to communicate.
