Ever since I was young I have been fascinated by the savoury taste of italian food and one of the more popular italian dish is spaghetti bolognese. It features the simple combination of three main ingredients tomato, basil, ground beef and spaghetti. Unlike the more popular bottled instant pasta sauces this sauce guarantees the homemade warmth that cannot be experienced from its bottled twin. The fresher ingredients will also make a difference in our subtle taste buds not to mention the lack of preservatives, additives and colourings in our homemade dishes! All fresh and true. Now moving on, creating this dish is child’s play there are overall two major phases, firstly the preparation phase and secondly the cooking phase for the sauce and several steps to prepare the spaghetti. The preparation phase is quite the bore but after a little practice it should be your second nature. To begin I would require some ingredients and they are : Sauce 400 grams of ground beef A pinch of dried oregano 100 ml of red wine 3 cloves of garlic 2 bulbs of onion Crushed black pepper Salt 15 tomatoes 4 tablespoons of thick tomato puree A cup of milk A carrot 3 tablespoons of olive oil Garnish Chilli flakes (optional) Tabasco (optional) Parsley Parmesan cheese Pasta 500 grams of spaghetti Salt A drizzle of olive oil I would start by dicing the onions, garlic, tomatoes and shredding the carrots. Afterwards I would then marinate the beef and finally open a can of tomato puree. To marinade 400 grams beef I would have to add 100 ml red wine, a pinch of dried oregano with a pinch of black pepper and salt. Measure a cup of milk for the finishing of the dish. As for the pasta I would recommend the use of instant pasta because making fresh pasta requires a lot of skill and frankly speaking it would not make much of the difference.To summarise, I would prepare
