Every child learns at a different pace, in different ways. I do believe that the process of learning should be not only educational by the point of the lesson. For example teaching the children to know their letter a there should not only be work sheets that go with learning that letter. There should be games, art, enrichments throughout every zone of our classrooms to help each child learn the letter A and the sound it makes, How to write it, what it sounds like, and what things start and sound like the letter A. Learning should be fun and interesting at the same time.
The children in our class who have multiple sclerosis did a great job of holding the paint brushes and rollers as before we started off doing this hand over hand and by the end of the activity they were able to hold the brushes for a few minutes on their own before dropping it (which they thought was great fun as it would slash paint everywhere). If you were going to share this evaluation with the class teacher, what would you say?I would say that I feel all the children enjoyed the activity and it was great starting off with the sensory story which all the children could feel the houses with screw, sticks and bricks on. I feel it would have been better if we could of done the activity in smaller groups e.g. 2 children with 2 adults and done the activity over a longer period of time so that we could of improved more on the children’s senses and help them progress even more. I feel this would of helped the children feel more confidence in the activity and we could of
After reading this everyone will have a whole new outlook on sitters as well as sitting. And as a bonus, sitters, you are guaranteed a call back! So what is the key? The key to being a successful babysitter is to satisfy both parties. That includes the kids who want to run wild, and for the parents that want perfection.
Changing a baby for your first time could be a hastle. Changing a baby is important because you want your baby or the baby to have a clean bottom and you don't want to smell any human waste. I will teach you the simply, easy, process of how to change a baby's pamper. Before you actually change the baby , you will need a changing pad, a pamper, wipes, and a distraction such as a toy for the baby to play with while you are changing him or her. The toy will basically hold there attention from what you are doing which will make the process easier.
The first way I have been a positive role model for children in my setting is with hygiene, I’ve shown this by always washing my hands and encouraging the children to do so as well before eating or after going to the toilet, this is important because it helps develop their independence. Another way I have been a positive role model is by encouraging sharing within the setting, I have shown this by always giving the children a fair chance with any of the toys and telling a child if they take the toy away from another child that they need to give it back and that they can have it when the child is finished playing with it. The next way I have been a positive role model is with dressing appropriately, I show this in the setting by always helping
Maria Alvarez Mrs. Darlene Proctor ENG 090-102 June 12, 2013 How to Potty Train a Baby Parents usually think that potty training is hard and stressful, but looking on the other hand it can be fascinated and easy in many ways. First, one should know what equipment to buy when potty training. Some items that one may buy are a potty trainer, or a special adapter to connect to the toilet, and potty pants (pull-ups).As we all know potty training starts at around eighteen months. There are many signs were you can detect when your baby is ready; such as, the baby yanking of his or her diaper, when one changes fewer diapers, and some babies can tell one when they are about to strike a bowel movement. Second, when potting training one must create
The alphabet writing part was a bit more challenging for the child as she needs more practice in that area, though the pond making was a challenge she overcome with a little struggle and was proud of herself. The activity followed child’s interest as she loves to play with water and also likes role play as the pet keeper. I already planed this activity for a group of children who did this together remaining there separate areas and showing each other there work. The plans were flexible in a the way that if the child doesn’t want to make the letter asked from her, she can choose another letter of her choice and continue, and if the children wanted to exchange their rubber pets with each other it was fine. The activity encouraged the fine and gross motor skills of the child and also the social emotional skills as she interacted with other children and showed her work and felt attached to her pet.
Being a parent of three, I feel that every child should learn how to be self-dependent, this will prepare them for real life situations in which they may endure. By providing chores, this will teach them life skills that every child should learn. For parents, knowing that their child is able to take care of themselves will keep them less worried when they are away from home or when the time comes for the child to go off to college or move out. For me, knowing how to do the simple things of washing clothes, washing dishes, or cleaning my room enabled me to teach my children the same values as well. Some parents believe paying children for helping out around the house is redundant.
That’s why, if you look carefully, you’ll find that for every kid who fits a stereotype, there’s, another who’s breaking one down. Summarization of Conclusion When babies are born whether female or male, parents emphasize on the color of the clothing they should wear, what traits their babies portray or whether they may even take after mommy or daddy. This is continuous chains that are already in the works for them without them even knowing it. Kids need to be kids and parents need to let them grow and let them be the person they are meant to be. Yes, kids while growing up need a form of discipline and should learn what is right and wrong.
It was quite adorable. While walking to the bathroom for a potty break, I noticed that other children in the hall would say hi or wave to the children in the special needs class. Therefore, I believe that these children are socially accepted, at least from what I seen. In order to help these children gain acceptance with their peers, I would help them realize that they are really no different than all the other children. I would make sure that they know that they need to follow the rules the same way the other children do.
