Of course, all books are more descriptive. What I liked about the movie is that they actually showed the dream Pony boy had and they also showed Dally robbing the grocery store; something the book doesn't tell. Both the book and the movie are great, and you should watch it, but the book is better. In conclusion as you can tell there are many differences, but there are also many things that are alike between the book and the movie. I enjoyed both the book and the movie, but personally I think the book was better, because the movie left some of the things out that the book had in it.
Therefore, the best way to overcome the language difficulties is forcing the students to speak only English in the class room, and joining college activities and conversation club to interact and practice with other English language learners and native speakers. There are many benefits to this solution. First of all, the students are convinced to be brave about speaking English regardless of bad grammar and errors. Therefore, they will be more confident to participate in the class discussions. Second, since they have the conversation club including classmates and others English learners, they can practice and learn each other during that time, so speaking English will become their daily routine by doing that activity.
A.1.a. Pre-K Strengths Because of the ever changing demographics in our system this can be very beneficial and has some great advantages with our program. With more non-English speaking children coming into our system this is encouraging our teachers to learn another language. In return it is helping with the language barrier we are facing in our current days. Our system could also look into hiring more teachers with the added benefit of speaking multiple languages and creating more jobs in our area.
While having a very effective sentence structure and word choice as the basis of her argument, she also used English and Spanish to build up her ethos, as an example “When Flavio accidentally hammered his thumb, he never yelled “Ouch!” he said “Ay!” (Cisneros 596), and then she trying to use the audience’s weakness for love stories to persuade her opinion upon them. In this story the author really wants to convey how great is the Spanish Language in comparison to English. In her writing, She uses a bunch of really nice long descriptions appealing to the reader’s sense of pathos side to get them to really feel good about the language of Spanish. For example, “…those words smelled like your house, like flour tortillas, and the inside of your daddy’s hat…” (Cisneros 596). At the same time she then uses pathos in the other way and gives no such description about English instead makes it sound dark and unappealing.
One bilingual employee can help bridge the language barrier between companies across the globe due to speaking two languages. They can help translate emails from international organizations, interpret conversations for both companies during meetings, and help review the company’s work that will be sent globally (“5 Benefits of Hiring a Bilingual Employee” 2015). Employers also benefit from bilingual employees from their increased cognitive functions. Studies show that they have better multitasking skills over monolinguals. This is due to their ability to easily switch between two tasks since they can switch between two languages.
So there is a reason to think that the recent changes are just a continuation of this cycle of change. The modern English accent has also changed as much as the modern standard American accent has from Shakespeare's English. The new generation is doing everything possible to encourage the English language to make it expand and develop further. Things like text are helping to improve the skills we use inside class they are helping us think and develop language .Such as the use of hashtags if you are in in place and you take a ‘’selfie’’ and you want to describe your atmosphere hashtags can help, they can also help to add and improve your vocabulary, so when you get back into class you can use your new found vocabulary to help with descriptive writing. Other than texting increasing vocabulary and writing skills texting also increases reading skills which in turn can help to improve spelling.

Professor Kamerman ENG 301 28 June 2009 Accelerated Reader Program: Benefit or Detriment Reading is vital to literacy; knowing how to read is necessary and assures success in most fields of work. Reading helps with writing as well; a person who reads more than they play games or watch television will find it much easier to come up with the words necessary to express their thoughts and ideas in writing. Teaching children to read is the beginning to providing them with the tools they need for a successful life, academically and in their careers. The purpose here is to explore the Accelerated Reader/Reading Renaissance (AR/RR) program and discuss whether it truly is beneficial to students by providing them with the opportunity to progress
The case of mixing languages can be seen in a lot of bilingual speakers. For me personally, I think the reason I mix my languages is because I think the language I choose to use can best serve my needs. Sometimes I cannot find a word or even a saying in Chinese that has the accurate meaning of what I am trying to say in English and vice versa. I did some survey among my friends who also code-switch and the following are the reasons I believe why people code-switch. (1) To find a perfect equivalent.
It also has a very defined thesis statement at the beginning "Online courses are an excellent way for busy professionals to gain advanced training and certifications or switch career paths. They can also be very effective for first-time job seekers who need specialized training. However, before signing up, here are a few factors that can ensure an online student's success." It easily caught my attention to continue reading and also let me know what I am getting into before actually starting reading the essay; I call it a "Sneak Peak". In "A Soul as Free as the Air: About Lucy Stone" I felt this was a character study which focuses on a specific person of interest.
