Helping people is something I just feel like I have to do and that it is selfish of me not to help a person in need. Growing up in my community and in my family I notice that people don’t really care about you they more so worry about their self. I’m from
Unfortunately we did not have a good dynamic with at least 1 team member which cause a quite a bit of delay and frustration, but we were able to side step this for the most part and push on with the objectives. Things got really bad one particular week and I am glad it’s over I will have to really do some thinking about how to deal with this if it happens in the real world. 3. What did you learn in completing this project about yourself and how you work in a team environment? I work better with people who are of similar thinking, I think that I lead better than follow, and I know that I prefer to work on things alone.
My belief is to have a aim in life, and work towards it, whether it be a aim in life to work towards, whether it be higher qualifications to better my job prospects or working towards bettering my career path, each is a great belief for me to acheive as this will be beneficial to my children and improve my way of life. While my Values and Beliefs are important to me I appreciate that not everyone values the same qualities. While it has not been an issue in my current position I could say that I may have less empathy or patience for people who are more work shy or don't work to my standard. It is important that i dont allow my beliefs and values to place a strain on my relationships with both colleauges and service users. Working in the Health sector, you are most likely to come accross people with views you dont agree with and some people wont understand your point of view.
These quotes is relevant to me that in every fault or failure I make I don’t have to be defensive about it but accept these mistakes and to use them as stepping stone to improve myself and change for the better. “Well done is better than well said.” and “Speak little, do much.” [The meaning of these words is fairly easy to understand, but they serve as an excellent reminder to us. The things that we DO for others are so much more important than the things we SAY to others. In other words: “Actions Speak Louder Than Words.” So simple… but so very important to the relationships we are trying to build every day. These quotations are very relevant to me, especially because I am a very expressive or kind of a talkative person.
That is my main function within the group, to facilitate the day-to-day actions of the other members. If something needs to get done, I assign a member that task and then follow up until completion. The only draw back so far is my aggressive attitude towards mission accomplishment has caused some of the other members to recent my approach. I do not always ask for things in a nice way, I think being direct is the quickest way to get something completed. The biggest affect that it has on the group is slowing down the amount of work that was getting completed.
My parents push me to be the best that I can be, which sometimes I don’t care what they are saying, don’t they understand that 9th grade is hard? And then I read that quote again, yeah yesterday was a lot easier than today but then is today going to be easier than tomorrow? I can’t say, I just have to know that with each passing day I read that quote I know there is NO easy day, unless I make it that
Or you may feel the greatest push when faced with complex and unfamiliar problems. Your exact preferences are determined by your other themes and experiences. But what is certain is that you enjoy bringing things back to life. It is a wonderful feeling to identify the undermining factor(s), eradicate them, and restore something to its true glory. Intuitively, you know that without your intervention, this thing—this machine, this technique, this person, this company—might have ceased to function.
I believe this shaped his work. I would love to copy his ambitions for education ,but i would also like to be as successful as he is. The reason is that at the point i am in my life i want to know that i will be a success in life and not a failure. I know that in order to succeed, you have to fail, to make mistakes. But knowing i am failing all the time, it hurts alot.
These families do not work a typical 9-5, this does not mean that they are not involved with their children’s school. They do what they can, when they can. Or they may only have one vehicle between two parents, and job schedules conflict. Just because they aren’t at every event, don’t rule them out based on negative assumptions. These assumptions lead to lower academic expectations of these students and an overlook of what these families bring to the classroom and the
It helps me figure out what I need to do to become a better player, but also a better person. It tests my ability to work hard through adversity, take constructive criticism, and challenge myself to push harder and to strive for greatness. I take tremendous pride in my work ethic, and it shows when I’m on the field. I stay focused from start to finish, learn from my mistakes quickly, and I accept my responsibilities that are handed down to me from coaches and my team. Pat Riley once said, “Excellence is the gradual result of always striving to do better.” This is how I treat everyday.
