Stress can affect people mentally and physically by putting tension on the body. As we all know, stress in our life is out of our control, but we can always control the way we respond. Three ways to fight stress are exercise, hobbies and friends. Exercising regularly can help in two different ways. One way is by helping maintain physical appearance, and the other way is by releasing stress. Exercise can also help with how a person eats. Dancing helps the mind in many ways. The movement helps increase endorphins which makes a person feel healthier. Running is probably the most understandable stress reliever. Running is a great way to burn off extra stress in addition to some calories, and this way a person will get some garden-fresh air. Taking a run will also help him or her have more energy in the long run. Hobbies are another great stress reliever. Hobbies give people a break from stress linked activities. For instance, women might get a pedicure or manicure; men might go fishing. A hobby can increase self-esteem and can provide a feeling of accomplishment. Hobbies are the key to get rid of the everyday stresses and worries. Hobbies also help with stress by enjoying self-interests, getting away from things that cause stress, and being positive people. Another stress reliever includes spending time with positive friends. A strong support group will help take the negative effects of stress away from a person. Positive friends can help stressed people take their mind off their stressor. Sometimes a friend can take the stressed friend out to a place with a warmer atmosphere.
