The first business I will look at is Ford Motor Company .Ford is an international car manufacturing company that has been in business since 1903 and was founded in America by a man called Henry Ford, initially set up in Detroit. Crystal Choy Mktg 129 Spring 2015 Case Analysis #1 Autobytel.com Class Analysis The traditional car buying process is that customers will go into a dealership and then the car salesperson and the buyer would be negotiating face-to-face when it comes to purchasing a car. Autobytel took a different approach when it came to selling cars compared to the traditional buying process by offering a website where potential consumers would shop for the automobile online. What is different about this website is that consumers are able to access information about the cars and the prices compared to all the dealerships around the area. Autobytel.com used to be the top of the online referral business in the market. This website was the first online service provided for buyers to shop for cars online so that they do not have to deal with the problems and hassles that arises that traditional buyers would usually deal with when they are at the dealership.
Small businesses are also important for innovation and new ideas. This is because it can be much easier to come up with and agree on ideas in a smaller business as there are less levels of power within the business to accept it; a bigger business can spend a long time on accepting new ideas that could benefit the business, and even further – the UK economy. This can also help as small businesses have come up with many good ideas which then get sold to bigger companies that have the power and the money to put plans into action which can then help the UK economy. The UK economy also benefits from small businesses because of the taxes they pay. Although they may pay less than a massive business there are so many small businesses that the government receives more money through taxes.
Also the MPG and how much the insurance will be on it, how much the tax are going to be and how much it will cost to run. Another thing you might discuss would be how much warranty you will get on the car if anything goes wrong with it. You would expect to have free servicing because you would be paying so much money for the car you are paying to have it services for free. When it goes in for a service you would expect them to valet the car and wash it because you have spent so much money on buying it.
