“How My Passions Can Impact the World”

Human passions are rather like a “broad brush”; vast and driven by man’s fervor and devotion for living life. Many consider their interests accompanied by talent as the basis forming and cultivating their passions; there unique gifts influence and contribute to our world. Talent for athletics, art, music, writing, leadership, and of course the list is endless, impact all of us. My spirit is drawn to perhaps the “broadest brush” that which all actions and energy need to breathe. I am impassioned by the promise and potential of time; the canvass which we paint our lives. Of course this is not a text book definition, but I envision each soul on the planet spending themselves on the most worthy notion that every life, year, day, hour, and fraction of a second has endless depths of potential that should never be taken for granted, and yet most of us do exactly that. How often do we find ourselves waiting around for the next thing or even or rushing to catch up? Our gift is time; and our use of it. As Albert Einstein puts it, “The only reason for time is so that everything doesn’t happen at once.” Look at inventors, they’re always battling to come up with the next new thing, but in a few years there inventions may be gone, out dated by something else new. Or they may create something timeless that helps define our civilization. So, I think that time is something so significant, yet so routine to some. When we wake up and go to school we have a whole new day ahead of us to do the things we need in order to get a good grade or strive to understanding the joy of learning something fresh. It’s a whole new day to be proactive and thirsty for learning. Those who have lived a longer life then us and have more experience directly as the result of time, may teach us complex learning.
