Clarence Van De Mark Professor Sheila Austin English 1021 December 1, 2011 Reflection My writing career as far as I can remember has been about life experience, career goals, passions, and role model that I have in my life. My highlights in my writing would be one of my pieces I recently wrote called “This I Believe”. It was about my passion towards what I want to do in my career field as a criminal justice major. Which is becoming a police officer and later on my career become a member of that force S.W.A.T. team. I feel as that’s one of my important highlight in my writing because it described what I am very passion for and what I’m studying, and training hard for. Another one of my favorite things to write about would be about my role model with is my mother. I know everybody says that their mother is their role model, but my mother has always supported me and my career choices. She always made sure I had an excellent education, and she loved me to the very last breathe in her body. I love my mother to death that’s why she is my role model because she made sure I had my head on right and she made sure I went down a right path. Last my teachers played an important part especially my seventh grade teacher Ms. Sofey. Because before her I was very immature and childish. She really put me in my place in a good way and opened my eyes in maturity. She educated me very well and taught my good morals and values which I am truly thankful for. Some of my low points in my writing would be my paragraphs. I feel like they aren’t passionate enough. What I mean by that is we my classmates are revising my papers they don’t feel that passion as I do. Also some of my paragraphs lack fullness. This happens sometimes because if I don’t have the information or just giving a writing assessment that has no meaning to me. I draw blank and cannot continue writing anymore.
