This article points out that, these social networks played a big part in the downfall of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak. The social networks spread the news of an instance where the Egyptian police murdered an innocent businessman, thus revealing their moral perversion. Due to the growing media attention, the people lost their faith and trust in their president and rallied. The Egyptian’s government tried to close the entire internet across the country hoping that they can still control the people. The government did not success to stop the people so the President decided to come down to his position. It is one of the most effective ways to advertise any product because social networks are used by most people with all ages and occupations.
