We learned that play is a very important aspect in a child’s development. We also learned how you use the game by interacting with it. How the child also develops while playing the game and others like it. Introduction A toy/game that is interactive helps the child develop in many different parts of his body and mind. We will learn about the types of play for an early childhood aged kid.
ADHD negatively can affect a child’s social and emotional behavior and the ability to control them in a positive manner in a school environment. Children that have both ADD/ADHD are expressively immature. Some studies show children who have ADHD, especially those children that have expressive outbursts or violent tendencies; they have a hard time socializing with others. In school, if their classmates and teacher single them out, they feel self-conscious. Many children with disabilities usually need more structured and clearly amorphous surroundings, also behaviorally, than a general education classroom can offer.
Sometimes this is learned behaviour from home and is hard for young children to understand that you are telling them it is not okay to call names because of someone’s skin colour or how they look . It is important to be consistent and reinforce that it’s not okay and it is very upsetting and hurtful. How would they feel if they were left out. We need to teach our children empathy from an early age and to respect each other regardless of race, age, gender, how we look, where were from. 2.2 Any form of prejudice and discrimination can have a severe negative effect throughout a person’s life.
1.2 Explain current theoretical approaches to creativity and creative learning in early childhood. Current theoretical approaches include Nature and nurture, being creative is something you genetically are just good at or is it something you can be taught. Cognitive theories looks at how we process things in the brain, how children connect one item to another. For example a box to some children may represent a house and to someone else it may be a shed or dog house. Social models looks at children using the environment around them as a means of being creative.
Educating Peter shows a young boy named Peter who has down syndrome who just joined Ms.Stallings classroom. Up to now Peter has only been in special education classrooms. When he was first integrated both children and teacher were a little taken back or startled. Peter had behavior outburst and this was a challenge for the teacher. Students would stare because he was different and question if he would learn or not.

This primarily affected African American children because their education system was different from the white children. Negro schools had many restrictions such as the reading matter being restricted to the used and discarded volumes of the libraries of the white community (Johnson 268). Based on attention to this advertisement through the perspective of race, I observe that African American children were falsely depicted in the 1930’s because they lack a proper education system and they were not socially equal. Education affected the child’s self-esteem and self-worth. According to Charles Johnson’s article, “Education of the Negro Child” about sixty-five percent of African American children are classified as retarded and the majority are retarded by more than one year (Johnson 266).
A lot of people always think Brennan High School is for bad kids, kids that get kicked out of school that might be true for a few but most of us were there for emotional problems. Threw all my years of high school senior year was the only year I wasn’t in a psych ward. The last memory I really have of high school was getting punched in the face by a male student. Bandura holds that behavior is learnt through observational learning process from the environment. Children observe the individuals around them behaving in certain ways. The paper, therefore, focuses on explaining what social learning theory is in detail through looking at its implications on children. In this theory, people that are being observed are known as models.
