Thomas Woodrow Wilson Woodrow Wilson was a Democrat, the President of Princeton University, an author of books on American government, and not to mention the Twenty-Eight President of the United States from ‘1913 -1921’. In 1917 he had taken the U.S into World War 1. After earning a law degree and later receiving his doctorate, he taught political science at Princeton University. Teaching at Princeton gave him good media attention, as he changed many things within the University. In 1910 he ran for Governor of New Jersey and succeed.
