Elvis Presley Elvis Presley was one of the most famous singers in all of America in the 20th century. Elvis Presley was born in a two bedroom house in Tupelo, Mississippi, on January 8, 1935. He’s full name was Elvis Aaron Presley. He had a brother named Jessie but had died at birth. He got his first guitar on January 8th 1946 when he was 11 years old. Elvis grew up with different types of music which included the blues and church music. When Elvis was 13 his family moved to Memphis.
