His music flows easily and one could glide across the room so smoothly. When one listen to this piece the waltz comes to mind. The one thing that is not so likeable is his cathedral music because it so sad and the tone is just bland. However, at the age of fourteen he copied a choral piece of the Sistine Chapel and the pope was so impressed with Mozart that he knighted him. The features about Mozart’s music is his passionate about his music and it brings ease, grace, spontaneity and at the same time creates balance, restraint and has perfect proportions.
The music was generally fast and the sound was very brassy to me. The purpose of the songs they were playing seem to be expressing a mood to me, as if the audience should be very awake and alert. It was not calming at all but I'm not sure it was supposed to be! I would say that the overall unifying principle of the entire concert is the range in melody. The choir put a spin on the way I ever looked at lyrics but the melody that they created was both high and low, they just stayed in harmony even when they weren't all singing at one and it was guys vs girls.
The stage set up was Unique but it complimented the play well due to the walking around and the crowd Interaction. I definitely think all the parts of the plot were essential to tell the full story. But, just like any play, there were bits and pieces that could have been left out and it Wouldn’t have changed the performance. Such as the role of the engineer who sat up top On the banister the whole play. I did not think she had a significant role.
Emmaneul Mensah Caitlin O’Neil Music 150 3 – 31 – 2010 Midsemester Paper The performance by Lowell Lieberman Concerto for Clarinet, orchestra, and the Beethoven Emperor Concerto by Jon Nakamatsu, piano soloist was quite a spectacular performance. Both performances were very entertaining and professional as well. In the commencement of the show, I was anticipating seeing some kind of unexciting show, but as the show progressed, I found it to be very interesting through their interaction with the audience. I became very attentive to each performance they displaced and often found myself drawn in by their performance. Both musical performers incorporated unique musical elements such as melody, harmony rhythm to mention a few.
Youvika Menos Mul 1010 Concert Report I attended the Boston pops on the 4th of July 2010, during the event I was a casual listener as I learn from my music class ” this type of listener likes having music playing, filling the environment with sounds, whether present as a background to drive, study, work, exercise, or hang out with friends”. The environment was very enjoyable people sat on the grass they wear funny Abraham Lincoln hat it was a family environment. Many pieces were performed but most of them were patriotic. There were many style that were performed for example modern, classical, etc… the instrumentation of the orchestra was amazing, some of the instruments I don’t even know their name, but from where I was I could see that there
Colbie Caillat On Aug. 21, 2012 I had went to Colbie Collibet and Gavin Degraw concert at the antelope valley fairgrounds. It was my first time seeing these two artists and they did not disappoint me at all. I love going to shows where the co-headliners or main interact with not only the audience but with each other's performance. Colbie’s voice was sweet and sensual that it makes me want my hubby to be at the show with me! Her songs make me want to fall in love and to be loved all at the same time.
From my experience when I attend a recital, the audience usually is involved with the performers and sometimes you cannot even hear the artist performing whatever they prepared. The environment of that recital is of complete silence from the audience, I felt as though it would probably be an insult to the composers if anybody was to speak while they were performing. This was a good experience for me because I actually got an opportunity to really hear what they were performing and appreciate what the composers worked really hard
