Giving Hope to those in need of Shelter The National Alliance to end homelessness has reported that in 2009 and 2011 there has been a drop in the economics and many people have lost their jobs, with this said there has only been a one percent increase of people who are homeless. This was due to the 700,000 dollar prevention plan to help those who were at risk in 2010. Even though there may have been a decrease in 2010 there is still concern. The economic as well as the demographic areas are showing that there is still a large number of people who are without homes (National Alliances to End Homelessness, 2012). People become homeless for many reasons; it could be due to loss of income from layoffs, or being fired. They could lose their homes…show more content…
