My duty of care within the company must take into account residents, colleagues and myself. I have clear responsibilities to residents and I will be held professionally accountable for the service I deliver. The company provides all necessary training for me to gain the knowledge to do this. I will not be expected to go beyond the limits of my role but if it is found that I did not exercise a proper duty of care I could be disciplined or even have legal action taken against me.
This includes the use of any available resources such as hoists for the moving of residents and ensuring training is up to date by attending all relevant courses. Technical ability: With highly engineered and critical specifications, the first and foremost supplier attribute that Scott needs to quantify for each supplier is their technical ability (or lack thereof) for each and every supplier. Arnold et. al. (2012) suggest that a qualified supplier must have the experience and knowledge to not only manufacturer the parts or assemblies but also be able to offer assistance in design or improvements. This supplier must have the competence to manufacture the needed components to the specifications.
Firstly, they create the Two-in box working method to get the engineering staff working directly with the Construction staff throughout the life of the project to overcome the construction completion syndromes. The project manager and sustaining manager (or system owner) work together and take the same responsibility for the project scope, budget and schedule. Because they have different focus aspects, which could cause paradox and competition, but under the same target: make the project successful, these two managers must be able to communicate and work in a team environment. In addition, both of the participants do their jobs more efficiently and pay more attention to the details of their individual responsibilities to ensure the success of project. Secondly, in order to track the financial issues, TI created the “checkbook” to handle the construction of a semi-conductor manufacturing plant.
The team members must have a clear understanding of the project roles to be assigned. The first step in building a successful team in order to complete a project or achieve a goal is guaranteeing that the project manager understands the project. The project must be thoroughly researched so that complete understanding is achieved by the team manager. Any confusion must be resolved before the next stage of project planning is embarked upon. If a manager does not understand a project, the project is impossible to assign.
Ensures Fair Treatment The very first quality of a Team Leader is that he should be a planner. In order for him to lead his team he should know where he is going, what goal/objective to be achieved and how to achieve it. The plan should be clearly identified, tasks are clearly assigned to each member and deadlines should be mentioned. If the Leader is not organized, neither will his members be and as such the accomplishment of the goal will be impacted. Another important quality of a Leader is that he should be a Detailed Evaluator and knows to evaluate/re-evaluate the plan as well as the output of each member.
