Holiday Happiness And Greetings!

It is that time of year again when we dig out the list of friends and family members that we may not see very often, but thought and memories of them are never far from our hearts. We take a few minutes to send Christmas greetings for the year in hopes that a fond memory and smile is brought to those on the other end of this greeting. It has been several years since I have dusted off the old Christmas cards and sat down to share the news of our lives. It isn’t that you all have strayed from my thoughts, it is just that God refuses to give me an extra 4 hours in my day to get everything done. So here I am, sitting up late- refusing to let another year go by without letting you all know that I am alive and well and haven’t forgotten about you. So let me start by getting you all caught up…. As you see by the return address, we move in 2005. Don’t fret- we only moved around the corner and up a few houses. Have to say that I just LOVE the neighborhood and the kids have their very good friends here. We were looking for a bigger space and we definitely found it- 4 bedroom, 2 ½ bath, finished basement and 1.25 acre in the back yard- large enough for a 125 yr old oak tree and a 100 ft slip-n-slide. Y’all must come by in the summer to our annual 4th of July (or around there) slip-n-slide party! After we got settled in to our new place, I decided that I was due for another change- so I went back to school (September 2006) for my Master’s degree @ Bellevue University. I graduated January 2008 with a MA in Leadership. I haven’t really found what I want to do with that degree yet, but I have been working hard on developing a training or credit class that deals with Women issues in leadership- which was the topic of my thesis. Since I still work at Metro (11 years and counting) I am hoping they will allow me to teach it as a credit class. Until this
