Holidays! Who wouldn’t love holiday? This is the time, for everyone to spend time with their loved ones and relax after an endless studying period. Last year during the long school break in November, tour to India with my family was my most ideal holiday trip ever. I had experienced a drastic change after my trip to India. We went to many cities in Tamil Nadu like Chennai, Thirupathi, Vellore, Mysore, Bangalore, Kochi and so on. We took our flight from the Low Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT) and our departed 3 o’clock in the afternoon. I was so excited to go on the plane as it was my first journey via flight. We did not travel anywhere on the first day as we were very exhausted. The next day, we started our journey early in the morning and headed to the neighboring city. We visited numerous, famous temples all around Tamil Nadu. I even had the experience of getting the blessing from elephant in the temples. The biggest, oldest and the most beautiful temple I went was the Tanjore Shiva temple which is about 1000 years old. The temple was so huge and the Lord Shiva’s statue was very big and decorated magnificently. The next place I enjoyed the most was Kerala. The specialty in Kerala is the houseboat where it was huge, slow-moving and exotic barges used for leisure trips. My sister and I had the best time in the houseboat playing and making paper boats. We were even served food in the houseboat. I was happily posing for the shots. In addition, I loved the scenery a lot as we were surrounded by countless numbers of houseboats and coconut trees in every corner of the lake. Last but not least, it was the coldest city on the peak, Ooty. It is as similar as Cameron Highland in Malaysia but we experienced bad time as the temperature fell to 5°C.
