Erick Robinson Day 2 B7 4/8/14 History of WW2 World War 2 was officially started in September 1, 1939 when Nazi Germany invaded Poland without warning or notice of any kind which leads to all countries getting involved and backing up each other. The allies of World War 2 consisted of U.S, Great Britain, France, USSR, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, Greece, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, South Africa, and Yugoslavia. The axis powers were Germany, Japan, and Italy they were planning for world domination of an empire to rule the people with there ideology. When the war was started when Nazi Germany invaded the allies partner Poland they decided to respond by declaring war on Germany soon the first battles would be taking place in Europe,Pacific,Eastern front, Italy, and North Africa. The first battle of World War 2 was the battle of Weskerplate in Poland that lasted seven days 1st September to 7th of September 1939 as a result of the allied forces declaration of war to Germany, Slovakia, and the Soviet Union due to their invasion of Poland. Prior to the battle in August Adolf Hitler and Stalin signed a non-aggression pact treaty which indicates that they can’t invade one another which Hitler will invade Russia. While the first battles were going on in Poland the U.S stopped export supplies of aviation fuel to Japan because they have declared war as an Axis power. With the exporting stopped from the U.S the Japanese are forced to find their own resources around there neighboring areas which means conquest by invading another country for resources for fighting World War 2. In early 1940 the Soviet Finland war ends which was a smaller scale battle. Also the German army has invaded Norway, and Denmark then soon will conquer the countries. In May of 1940 Germany conquered Norway and Denmark then focus on Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxemburg. By June
