History of media and politics In this essay you will be reading about the history of media and politics. In the first paragraph you will read about how the media can help/hurt ones career. In the second paragraph it talks about how the media can help cover up or embarass politicians. The third paragraph talks about how most humans believe what they hear on the news. The fourth paragraph is about how in some cases media can be good for them but bad for the public. The fifth paragraph talks about international affairs with the media. The sixth paragraph says how the media should have tighter restrictions on what they report. Now lets move on to the first paragraph. This pargraph is about media helping/hurting a polticians career. Mass media can be defined as places for messages that are created for a lot of people to hear. The media has noticeable effect on politics. However, the effect may not always be good. If used against politicians it can destroy his or her career, but if the media likes that one politician it can help his or her career. In paragraph two it talks about why politicians cover up things. The media helps to cover up what politicians do not want us seeing, or what activists think is too violent for us to see. The media can also tell us about politicians embarassment, ruining their political career. The media plays a huge role in American political affairs, and it plays a role in international political affairs as well. Lets move to the third paragraph where it talks about how some people believe everything they hear on the news. It is in human nature to believe what we hear on the news. We tend to believe the media because research is done by them and they are a main source of information.
