The experiment was repeated with many flasks under many different conditions. The result was always the same. He had training so he knew what he was looking for and how to do it and he was able to work in a science lab so he had all the equipment he needed to do his experiment. Community health is not just based on a certain age group or certain situations, so I feel as if my community health clinical rotation will allow me to pull all of my clinical experiences into one and apply all of those skills. This clinical rotation will definitely put my knowledge to test and I am 100% ready to test everything I have been taught. After reading about this organization, I could not be more excited to do my community health clinical rotation there. I even noticed that they offer volunteer and career opportunities, so working at a Comtrea location could always be a possibility for me. I have always enjoyed the community health aspect of nursing because the fact that you are helping your own community is very rewarding.
58 Job Shadow Since I’ve been very young I have thought orthodontics was way interesting and looked way fun, and at the end of the day you know you’ve helped patients with their mouth or teeth. The day of the job shadow started off with getting to know all of the assistance and getting a feel for the work space. Then I met Doctor Simister who is the orthodontist of the building and talked to him a bit while he showed me some new things. I am very glad I got to have this experience because it has taught me a lot about this job. I learned so many things during this experience like the schooling you have to go through to get the job.
How to structure paragraphs, so that my audience understands my point of view. I have learned how to engage my audience without them being confused, into what I want the reader to know about the new design software. As I reflect upon my analytical report that I have written, I am confident to say that this was one of my favorite papers to do research on. It allowed me to write about something that I truly feel very strong about. I also can teach my children how to incorporate graphs, and teach them how to structure an Analytical Report.
This is quite a job since each eel can produce up to 5gal of slime when in danger or upset. Each person that cleans the slime has their own way of being able to pick up the slime since it is very slippery and if not handled properly falls apart. Once we have them cleaned and hooked up to the air supply in the truck, we are then free and clear to clean up our work area and get ready to go home. Our foreman gets the money from our truck driver pays us and lets us know an approximate time to do it all over
I also introduced Sidney to other members of the team so that on his first day the ward he would know some of the staff. Davison (2005) said that students can be made to feel welcome by someone simply knowing their name and also being expected on the ward, having already done this I felt I was off to a good start. Being conscious of Maslow’s (1962) work on the hierarchy of needs I realised that my actions had gone some way to actualising my students needs in that his physical needs, safety and feelings of acceptance had been achieved. On talking to Sidney over the course of his placement he confirmed that he had been looking forward to coming on this placement as everyone had seemed so friendly when he came that day and that he had some resources to look at prior to starting. With my area of nursing being quite specialised and vastly different from a ward environment I thought it best that Sidney spent a few days observing the running of the unit before he could develop his learning objectives and discussed this with him.
Reflection on Relationship with whanau 26/02/2014 Describe From the first day of my field practice, I have built the positive relationship with the tamariki, whanau and kaiako at Topkids Mptotaiko. I introduced myself to parents and whanau and try to have a small conversation with them like how their child enjoyed painting today? To build the relationship that makes them feel comfortable around me so they can feel free to trust me around their tamariki. I ask lots of questions to staffs about planning so I can link my practicum goals with the centre planning to be part of the team. Inform In returned I felt very welcome and have all the support I need.
CASL Essay Assignment I would like to attend the CASL conference so that I can further my leadership journey. By going to CASL it will help me to grow in my abilities and qualities. When I grow, not only would I benefit myself as a better leader but our school would benefit also in their representation and leadership program. I would also like to attend CASL so that I can learn about service projects. I am very interested in starting a specific service project my junior year for CAS hours and this would be a great help to me with that.

As a group we all decided pretty quickly on The USF Wellness Center located at the heart of campus in the Marshall Student Center. I sent out a brief email to the director of the Wellness Center, Mrs. Jennifer Parker, and followed up with a drop in at her office explaining to her about the Grant Project that we were assigned. A week later I emailed Mrs. Parker again requesting to see if she had any available time to meet with me. Later, that week I found myself speaking to a very enthusiastic woman with a plethora of insight on what to look for in a grant that the Wellness Center may actually use.
