Higher Education For Everyone? Every human being has the right to be educated. Therefore, college education should be available to everyone. Even though university is not a requirement for life, the noble ideal of being an educated person, is a right for everybody. Although some students are not necessarily brilliant or may have some learning or economic difficulties, everyone should have the opportunity to access higher education. It is true that college education is a real business. Yet, financial help and scholarships are available for everyone who, under certain circumstances, wants to pursue a college degree. Regardless of one’s ethnic group, race, social or economic status, college financial aid should be reachable for everyone in a way that people can get a college education and obtain a bachelor’s degree. Sometimes students, who did not have good grades or a good GPA in high school, find difficulty in accessing higher education. However, special academic programs for people with some minor learning issues and low grades should be offered. These programs, should guarantee the opportunity of an academic improvement and the development of studying skills, which will allow students to fully immerge into the university system and be successful. Nowadays, life presents us challenges more than ever. Higher education usually offers the opportunities for getting a better job. A college degree certainly offers not only the possibility of a better work position, but also some organizational skills that are necessary in everybody’s life. In my own experience, I have found that people that have attended college education are usually more responsible of themselves.
