Name: Trần Đức Nam Class : A Task 2 It is obvious that people always resist making changes in their lives. It is very difficult to make changes because they are accustomed to a certain style of life. That is also a reason make them encounter a lot of problems. For example, there are a lot of students who are studying at school. They always cheat in the exams.
This is why teaching financial literacy in high school will benefit the students later in their life. Secondly, the people who lack the financial literacy skills do not tend to save or plan for their future retirement. This is because they do not know how to make a financial plan, so they cannot plan their retirement and they have to depend on government pension because they are not self-reliant. Because of the lack of knowledge they do not save money and even if they save they do not know how to invest the money wisely. So
Unfortunately, the FCAT does not evaluate student’s performance correctly due to students that fall under pressure. The pressure that student’s feel and encounter is also known as test anxiety. According to Channel 7 reporter Erica Rakow’s in the article “FCAT Stresses Students Out, she claims” The responsibility of passing both reading and math portion of the FCAT in 10 grade adds a stressful ambiance to students who really do not want to retake it as a junior (par.2). Rakow also points out “That responsibility includes promotions to the next grade, and future funding for their school. Some students get so worked up about the test they can’t even get through it (par.3).
On top of all this, there are students placed into classes that they are not properly prepared. This takes away from the teachers ability to teach the core curriculum. Many of these students come from other countries with English being their second language. How can we expect those students to keep up with the pace if they don’t know English that well? In addition many students have disabilities.
Being the butt of bullies and social outcast for having Tourette’s syndrome was a major impact on everyday life. Misunderstood, feared and harassed by even ordinary people, not understanding what this disorder was. Tourette’s affected grades and friendships. It will also cause stress for the students because they will have a hard time learning there subject. With the increase of stress students grades Drop and some people would say they would become unreasonable adult figures when they grow up. Instead I propose that students should come after school and learn the subject
3. If a child is overweight and obese he will struggle to do PE at school as he won't have the energy and will get tired very quickly. This can cause his classmates to be annoyed with him for delaying the class due to his weight and they will bully him for it. This would leave the child feeling very hurt, embarrassed and he will lose his confidence and self-esteem. This will then effect his physical, social and emotional development.
So with that being said, many students could feel uncomfortable hearing it at school. Also, if the class isn’t really a diverse classroom, that could make it even harder. Students won’t feel that it’s appropriate to speak up about being uncomfortable with the language or word choice, especially when the other students don’t seem to mind. The last thing a student wants is to be the odd guy out. The word is blatantly attached to racism, and that makes it a hard case to argue.
Many teachers do not like “catching plagiarists and bringing them to academic justice.” As she states, it is not hard to just cite the author that originally had the information you are using (Bojar). Plagiarism is becoming a big problem in the school system. Many students do not understand what needs to be cited and what does not. The school system should teach students the proper way to cite, and they should teach them that copy and pasting is not writing a paper. According Bojar to students at the community college have a hard time juggling classes along with his or her family and a job.
Secondly, some kids could be lacking motivation for the study and thus would neglect their opportunity for learning and school rules at the same time. Thirdly, children can have the desire of missing school if they have some relationship problems with other students or school personnel. The forth reason for the school absence is that children can be stressed out because they are overwhelmed with their sudies and from time to time they can miss school because of that. The reasons for the tardiness could be again not satisfactory level of the discipline of the children, kids being overwhelmed with the school(going to bed late because of it and having problems for getting themselves ready for school in time in the mornings) and also just regular traffic problems on children's way to school. 2.
