Slide 1 - Anyone can be a hero SLIDE 1 - Do you all have heroes you look up to? I’m sure you do, we all want to look up to someone, somebody who models a lifestyle we admire. These people need not to be perfect but pretty much everybody has one. SLIDE 2+ 3 - However everyone has a different idea of what really defines a hero, some would say that heroes are their favorite celebrities or comics superhero others would say that heroes are those who donate thousands of dollars to poor families. Truth is, heroes don’t need a cape, powers, or a fancy title to be considered called a hero. Someone who is selfness, who is generous, who just tries to give back as much as possible is what could define a hero. SLIDE 4 - A hero embodies the best qualities in us, heroes put others needs before their own. For instance let's take the case of Martin Luther King. He was a man who lived and died for what he believed in. He was a leader who stopped at nothing to achieve justice. His convictions led to new laws. It is a revelant illustration, he was a hero because he knew that we live in a world that strives to improve itself. He knew that in each of our hearts, we want tomorrow to be a better day. He shows us all that we have potential to make ourselves better and the world around us as well. Hence he was loving and achieved his goals by choosing a pacific path, Dr. King could not have been more clear in his 1967 speech denouncing the Vietnam War during which he said “Returning violence for violence multiplies violence, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars... Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that.” SLIDE 5 - In addition heroes don’t give up they are stoic. Mulan was stoic she never gave up no matter what challenges got on her way. Heroes are not liars, they outspoken with the truth. They are brave, and are not afraid to talk with
