Combine the value (Summation)
      * Click Transform / Compute Variable

      * Enter the Target Variable as “combinex”
      * Click Function group for “All”
      * Click Function and special variable for “Sum”, then click
      * Select parameters from the left hand list, then click
to add in the Sum (etan1, etan2, etan3,…, eemp5), there are total of 22 variables

      * Click OK
  * The result shows the “combinex” in another column. This data is called “aggregated data”

  * As the data has 7 scales, then the average score shouldn’t be greater than 7. However, the combinex is 134, 154, 113,… because these numbers are the summation of all number in each one. So, we need to find the average for the next step.
  * Note that the aggregated data is more accurate.

Mean (Average)
  * Click Transform / Compute Variable

  * As the window shows the old transaction for the sum
Click “Reset” to clear the screen

  * Enter the Target Variable as “meanex”
  * Select “combinex” for the Type & Label
  * Enter the expression of “combinex/22”
Note: 22 is the quantity of questions (there are total 22 question under expectation)
  * Click OK

  * The “Meanex” shows the average in another column

Now, all mean numbers in the Meanex are not greater than 7.
