Research Paper Joseph Conrad – “Heart of Darkness“ Introduction Is it impossible to live like a drop in the sea and yet leave something „yours“ for decades after your existence? Can a person have such a great influence, and have powerful literary work to be remembered even decades after? My answer would be „yes“but under condition that you know what you live for. The reason I have chosen this literary work and the life of Joseph Conrad to analyze is the great similarity I’ve founded between Marlow and Joseph on one side and myself on the other. I am very decisive person and when I have some goals to reach, nothing can stop me. And nothing did stop either Joseph or Marlow to reach their goals.
